Aaron Burnett joined Produxs through the company's acquisition of The Phosphor Group, a boutique consulting and interactive marketing agency dedicated to helping clients accelerate growth through Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, Multivariate Testing, and Affiliate Marketing.
Prior to founding The Phosphor Group, Aaron served as VP, Marketing for Pivotlink, previously an unknown SaaS Business Intelligence provider. Among other achievements, Aaron led a broadly praised redesign of UX and visual design for the company's business intelligence platform. He also developed and executed a marketing strategy that helped to establish Pivotlink as a rising star in its market, which contributed to $14M in two unsolicited rounds of new funding in just nine months.
Aaron joined Pivotlink from The HansonMaslen Group, a boutique brand strategy and marketing consultancy, where he was a one of four active partners. Prior to The HansonMaslen Group, Aaron was Chief Executive Officer of Nuevas Fronteras, where he conceived, led development for and launched the first web-based telecommunications service aggregator serving the Hispanic market in the United States. Aaron co-founded Nuevas Fronteras after more than a decade in senior leadership positions with wireless carriers, broadband service providers and wireless software development companies.
Aaron previously served as Vice President of Marketing for NetMotion Wireless, where his marketing strategy and superior execution contributed to an increase in the customer base, from 70 to more than 700 over just 20 months. Previously, Aaron served in an interim capacity as SVP of Marketing for Speakeasy, where he built a 13-member marketing staff, helped double direct sales within 100 days of engagement, increased affiliate sales by 100 percent and forged a new public relations strategy that resulted in a dramatic increase in company coverage in mainstream media including USA Today, CNN and The Associated Press.
Earlier in his career, Aaron held several leadership positions with the Claircom division of McCaw Cellular (which became the Aviation Communications Division of AT&T Wireless Services), the most recent of which was VP, Sales and Marketing. In this capacity, Aaron was responsible for sales, business development, product management, marketing, public relations and customer care. Aaron was a key member of the division's executive team and closed the most valuable equipment sale in division history, developed the division's first functional in-flight internet and email portal, and created network products that increased call completion by 16 percent while reducing key network expenses by 80 percent.
Aaron is a cum laude graduate of the Edward R. Murrow School of Communications at Washington State University.
