Challenge:

Road, a boutique men's clothing retailer with five stores in several states, needed a web site redesign to take them from a simple catalog to a full-blown online storefront with an eCommerce infrastructure. This highly scalable initial work is the first of several planned phases for their new online presence, designed to underscore the upscale Road brand and grow the business while providing customers with a seamless shopping experience.

Solution:

Road already had provided some ecommerce features on their site, so we were tasked with integrating the new site and its content management system with their existing inventory, banking, and shipping systems. With Road's conversion and revenue goals in mind, as well as their sophisticated "lifestyle" image, we also determined how to best display their high-quality clothing lines in visually pleasing ways.

Value for Client:

Road Apparel can now even further promote and sell their unique line of casual menswear, including by having their online presence drive traffic to their stores as well as to the site. Road's retail systems all now "talk" to each other, avoiding any technology headaches. The customer ordering process now includes the ability to track purchases. The site is poised for many planned enhancements that will include integration with social media and other modern marketing methods.
